This Exhibition aims to present the evolution of EAC (Engineering, Architecture and Construction) design tools since the implementation of the courses at the Faculty of Technology of São Paulo. (FATEC/SP), in 1970, to the present day, with CAD - Computer Aided Design and BIM Building Information Modeling tools.

The idea of creating the Exhibition emerged in early 2015, during the organization of materials for the Civil Construction Design (CCD) disciplines, when design tools used before computerization were found. Many of those tools were not familiar to our students, and the Exhibition was a way to present the history of the design process.

After the first Exhibition, we started to receive donations from teachers and students, such as India ink projects, as well as drawing instruments. Today we have a collection of approximately 290 pieces, all of which are catalogued.

This sample takes place in the month of October, in the CAD laboratories, concomitantly with the Technology Congress of FATEC/SP, under the coordination of Professor Ma. Iêda Maria Nolla, together with the Teaching Assistants, Giovane Zandonade Paulino, Jeferson Miguel dos Santos and Leticia Verediano de Almeida. We intend to expand the collection, as well as the topic addressed.
